Iwate Kura Beer

Iwate Kura launched in 1995 as a craft beer brand under sake manufacturing company Seikinoichi Shuzo, which was found way back in Taisho period (1918). With such long history of brewing experience and technique from sake manufacturing, they had won multiple awards in beer competitions both in Japan and international stage all these years.

They also like to brew with local produces in order to let people know more about Iwate prefecture. Among them, the most special brews are Oyster Stout and Sansho Ale, which are brewed with local Sanriku oyster and Ichikan Sansho.
